Luna – another game streaming service?

At Amazon’s annual event this year, they announced Amazon Luna, a new cloud gaming service for iOS, iPadOS, Fire TV, PC, Mac, and Android support soon. Amazon is letting you subscribe to Amazon Luna+ for $5.99 per month. It will include action games like Resident Evil 7Control, and Panzer Dragoon too! Also, Luna+ subscribers will be able to play on 2 devices simultaneously, and some games will support 4k/60fps.

The service works using a keyboard and mouse, a Bluetooth controller, or the dedicated Luna controller. The controller will be Alexa enabled, and instead of connecting to your device, it will connect directly to the Cloud for reduced latency – useful, yet it’ll limit the usability of the controller for other consoles. The controller will be available for $49.99 during the early access period.

Amazon has said it’s available for the US at the moment, and hopefully it’ll be available for other countries. If you’re in the US, you can sign up for an invitation to try it today, at http://amazon.com/Luna/.

What do you think of another streaming service entering the cloud market? Will you choose any of these online services, or do you prefer physical games? Let me know down in the comments below!
