New Fire TV Stick, Stick Lite and FireOS redesign!

In their recent event, Amazon announced new Fire Products, Ring products and all-new Alexa products! Here, let’s talk about the new Fire products.

New Fire TV Stick

Amazon has now announced a new Fire TV Stick that’s supposedly 50% faster than the last generation. It now allows streaming at 1080p, 60fps and HDR compatibility. It also includes support for Dolby Atmos compatible speakers, and the remote now has dedicated buttons for power, volume and mute. Not much has changed on the outside, that’s for sure, but the 50% speed improvements will definitely make up for that.

The improved TV Stick will cost £39.99 ($39.99), and will be released on September 30 2020.

Fire TV Stick Lite

At the same event, Amazon also announced a new Fire TV Stick Lite. It’s quite similar to the older TV Stick but is apparently 50% faster than the older model (not the 2020 model). The remote of the TV Stick Lite doesn’t have a power button, volume buttons or a mute button – just like the old version. But the main aspect of this TV Stick is the price. It’s going to cost £29.99 ($29.99) and is going to be released on September 30, 2020, too.

All new Experience

Amazon has also announced an all-new experience for its products, and I think it looks great! It’s going to introduce user profiles, allow you to favourite your most-used apps, and even the ability to scroll over supported apps and have a peek at the content!

It’s going to start rolling out to users by the end of the year, starting with the new Fire TV Stick and the Fire TV Stick Lite.
